DALE JOSEPH JORDAN, age 53, of Grand Rapids, MN, died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack at Essencia Health, St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN on Saturday, December 17, 2011. Dale was born on December 25, 1957 to Betty Manginen and Maynard Jordan in Grand Rapids, MN. He attended Greenway schools and graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1976. Dale worked as a janitor for Greenway High School up to the time he was employed by Blandin Paper Co., where he worked for over 30 years. He was currently employed by Filthy Clean in Grand Rapids. Dale was a member and chairman of the board for Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cohasset, MN.

The thing he loved the most in his life was his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Ernest and Geneva Washburn and Clarence and Velna Jordan; his father, Maynard Jordan; a son Jeremy Dale; his sister, Susan Jordan; and stepmother, Barb Jordan.

Dale is survived by his children, Jamie (Shane Stanina) Jordan, Jennifer Jordan and Jacob Jordan; one stepson, Jeffrey Kite all of Grand Rapids, MN; his mother, Betty (Carl)Manginen of Bovey, MN; brothers, Greg (Vickie) Jordan of Grand Rapids, MN and Thomas (Christie) Jordan of Minneapolis, MN; and sisters, Linda Schumacher of Grand Rapids and Diane Jordan of Round Rock, Texas; and stepmother, Connie Hince; grandchildren, Luke Sipe, Jordan Tew, Joslynn Jordan and Serenity Babcock.

Visitation will be Friday, December 23rd from 12:00 Noon until the 1:00 PM Funeral Service at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cohasset, MN. Rev. Chris Gorshe will officiate.
