We're here to help.
Making the decision to plan for your funeral may not be easy, but once you've made that choice, we can be of tremendous help in guiding you through the process. We are dedicated to helping families cope with loss.
Make your wishes known.
By planning for your funeral, you'll not only relieve your loved ones of difficult decision-making, you'll also gain the peace of mind that comes from knowing your wishes can be carried out.
In prearranging or prefinancing of any funeral arrangements, we feel the following four basic decisions should be made. Details within these decisions may also be discussed, but are not required and are sometimes better left for the family at the time of death.
- Which Funeral Home Will Care For Remains.
- Place Of Service. (Church, Funeral Home or other)
Is there a Minister you like? The place of service could be discussed with your Minister along with other details such as music, scriptures, lunch, etc.
- Type Of Service. (Funeral or Memorial)
Other details such as visitation, viewing, clothing, etc.
- Disposition Of Remains.
(Will the body be buried, cremated, entombed or buried at sea) Cemetery lots could be purchased. Type of committal service could be discussed such as graveside, at church, private, etc.
Regardless of what plans are made, the following guidelines should be remembered:
- There is no cost incurred by the funeral home for prearranging or prefinancing.
- Any prefinancing should meet Human Service Guidelines.
- Do not put more money aside to prefinance a funeral service than is actually needed.
- Any Prearrangements, Funeral Trusts or Insurance Policies are transferable to any other funeral home.
